THE PEACH MARTINI
Just peachy keen, dude!
Ingredients: Light Rum, Peach Schnapps, Peach Nectar, Peach Slices, Sugar
I'm a sucker for a fresh peach. When I make this martini I make my own peach nectar or peach juice, that canned stuff just don't cut it! The juice is lucky it ever makes it to a martini - and you know how I love my martinis - I have a hard time waiting even long enough to get everything in the martini shaker and then into my martini glass.
You can make this peach martini with vodka too but the rum really is a more mellow base for the peach. Oh, and you can spice it up if you want and use Captain Morgan's Rum for a nice change. I found this makes it taste almost like a slice of peach pie!
Serve it up with some of my Peach & Mango Bruschetta!
